Apple Cider Vinegar is a powerful, natural homemade cleaning agent that is perfectly suited for many uses. Look around your home, it’s right there. It’s cheap, less toxic, more attractive and probably more effective. So, why use apple cider vinegar to clean hardwood floors? Definitely yes!

One of the benefits to using apple cider vinegar as a cleaning agent is that there are no harsh abrasives. Applying one part apple cider vinegar and spraying the entire floor will remove most of the dirt. Just spray the area and leave it. If after spraying you find some stubborn dirt, just rinse it with another part of apple cider vinegar and then repeat the process. It should keep the dirt from coming back.

To use this homemade cleaning solution, mix it with two cups of hot water. Then use a scrub brush or sponge to apply the mixture to the floor. The scrubbing action will loosen dirt particles that have been trapped in the wood between the carpets. You can add a few drops of essential oil, if you want a better result.

To make a final, effective cleaning agent, mix two cups of apple cider vinegar with four cups of hot water and lukewarm water. Then pour it into a spray bottle and apply it to all the cracks and crevices in your home, especially the ones in your furniture, where you can’t get into the cracks to reach them. Let the solution sit for a few minutes, then spray with a laundry detergent. Rinse the fabric softener thoroughly and then follow up with a deep clean using the washer or steam cleaner. You may also use the same liquid as a homemade deodorizer.

If you have hard water deposits on fabric softener bottles, you can soak them overnight in a tub filled with warm water. Remove the bottles from the water and rinse them off in hot water. Then, fill the tub with cold water and spray the bottles with white vinegar, which is extremely effective in removing lime scale deposits and mineral stains. Then put them back into the water. Repeat the cleaning process every day until the stains are gone.

If you are looking for a natural, effective solution for stain removal, you should try Apple Cider Vinegar to Clean any stubborn stains that appear in your house. This natural household cleaner has high acidity and therefore works best on mildew, mold, grease and soap deposits. Other types of natural household cleaners may leave behind a residue of lime, which is acidic and can damage the fabric of your furniture. So it’s better to use the natural cleaning vinegar in conjunction with other cleaners for the best results.
